Practice with a purpose
Before your first action, say what you are trying to achieve. Then compare the result with the goal. Refer to the controls when needed.
What you need to achieve
Type the line exactly or maximise correct typing within sixty seconds. Read that aim before choosing your first action. Return to the instructions when a step is unclear.
Making your moves
- Start challenge.
- Type words and spaces as shown.
- Check speed and accuracy feedback.
- Exact completion or the timer ends the round.
Getting comfortable with the controls
Use a keyboard in the input field. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Avoid pressing the same control repeatedly while a move is being processed.
Work through an example
WPM uses correctly positioned characters divided by five and elapsed minutes. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Read the matching step again.
Avoid this misunderstanding
Pasting is not representative typing practice. Compare the situation with the worked example. Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention.
